The International Code Council and Avolve Software have partnered to give the ICC a “Powered by Avolve” cloud-based platform for its digital plan review services. The agreement is a big step in ICC’s efforts to leverage technology for greater efficiency and improved services for its members and customers.
“Online plan submission and review is quickly becoming the norm in the building safety industry because of the cost efficiency, speed, accuracy and convenience it provides,” ICC CEO Dominic Sims said.
Avolve Software has been an ICC Corporate Member since 2008 and created the ProjectDox ePlan software currently used by many ICC members in the U.S. and Canada. Using the cloud will allow ICC to receive and review projects online at any time and collaborate with users in real-time.
