Mitsubishi Electric’s U.S. Cooling and Heating Division introduces its new VRF PWFY hydronic heat exchanger, which functions in various modes to provide hot or cooled water. The basic PWFY exchanger is available in 36,000 Btu and 72,000 Btu sizes and operates in heating (full temperature range), heating ECO (supply temperature based on outdoor ambient temp) and antifreeze (maintains circulation to prevent pipe freeze). The unit is connectable to Mitsubishi Electric VRF modular units, water-source modular units and hyper-heating units.
