GP Russ Chaney, CEO of The IAPMO Group, was elected chairman of the World Plumbing Council for a term covering 2011-2013 during the 9th World Plumbing Conference in early September in Edinburgh, Scotland. Chaney served two terms on the WPC Executive Board as a director (2002-2005) and as deputy chairman (2008 until his recent election as chairman).
“Being elected by my peers to this position is the highest, most humbling honor I’ve received in my professional career,” Chaney said. “With the support of my colleagues on the Executive Board and WPC membership, I hope to put the WPC on a strong footing so that those who follow have the ability to make significant strides on behalf of the international plumbing community.”
