Franklin Electric appointed Tom Strupp to the vice president, global human
resources post. Strupp has been with the company since 2005. Also at Franklin
been named vice president, global water systems engineering for the company’s
worldwide engineering organization. Aikman is a 28-year technology and business
leadership veteran. Lilker Associates, a New
York City-based MEP and technology engineering firm, promoted Paresh Doshi,
P.E., LEED AP, to director of health-care engineering.
Hill/Ahern Fire Protection appointed Shannon Coomes
as the company’s new general manager of its Franklin Park, Ill., operation. Waterless urinal
manufacturer Waterless Co., was granted trademark status for
“Waterless” by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
GROHE named industry veteran Franz Droege president and
CEO for GROHE America. Droege takes over from past president and CEO Jeff Ackerberg. Boston-based Vanderweil Engineers has opened a Southern California office. The Long Beach-based office
will be directed by Vanderweil Engineers Principal Jeff Duncan.
Kroff Inc., a
water-treatment company, has formed a strategic partnership with Hibrett
Puratex to provide customers with an innovative hands-free chemical delivery
recently recognized by the U.S. EPA’s WaterSense program for helping to promote
water efficiency. Caroma earned an excellence award for its number of
WaterSense-labeled products in the marketplace - all 47 of its floor-mount,
dual-flush toilet models.
