PME won awards in the Technical Writing category for the article "Injection vs. 4-Way Valves," from the October 2002 issue, written by John Siegenthaler, as well as in the Printed Four-Color Magazines & Journals category for the complete June 2002 issue.

APEX awards are based on excellence in graphic design, editorial content and the ability to achieve overall communications excellence, and PME was chosen for two such awards out of 5,000 entries.
