ISH North America has announced that the American Society of Sanitary Engineering (ASSE), based in Westlake, OH, has agreed to become an endorser of the ISH North America show. The event will be held from October 1-3 at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino Convention Center in Las Vegas.

This latest announcement brings the total to 20 of leading associations and other industry organizations that are lending their names and marketing support to the event, including The American Backflow Prevention Association (ABPA), World Plumbing Council (WPC), International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO), and the Refrigeration Service Engineers Society (RSES).

"ISH North America is very pleased that ASSE will now be active supporters of the show and its 2,000 members will be encouraged to attend the ISH North America trade show and seminars in Las Vegas. The show partners--ASA, CIPH, RPA and PHCC--welcome ASSE to ISH North America's growing 'family,'" stated Roland Bleinroth, president of Messe Frankfurt, Inc.

"A consolidated multi-industry trade show has long been discussed in the United States and Canada. Currently, both exhibitors and attendees have to carefully choose which show(s) they want to attend annually. With one show now encompassing plumbing, hvac, refrigeration, and other trades, I am confident that the future success of ISH North America is guaranteed," stated Shannon Corcoran, executive director of ASSE, whose membership is comprised of contractors, engineers, inspectors, journeymen, apprentices and other professionals from the plumbing industry.

It was also announced that ISH NA will again host the Design Plus exhibit, featuring European products recognized for their outstanding and innovative design. Selected by a panel of industry experts from 139 entries, these products exemplify outstanding design and were honored during this year's ISH show in Frankfurt, Germany. Products were classified into one of the following three categories: The Bathroom Experience, Energy Technology, and Building Technology. The Design Plus awards were presented based upon design quality, materials used, utility value, technical quality, ecological compatibility and overall concept.

In addition to Design Plus, ISH North America will again host its own New Product Showcase. This exhibit will feature the latest and most creative products launched in North America over the last year. Many exhibitors will use ISH North America's New Product Showcase as a platform to introduce their products to the North American market. The top products in the following categories will be recognized: kitchen and bath, plumbing and piping, heating and ventilation, software and electronic equipment, industrial products, and tools and equipment. One product will be designated "Best of Show."

According to Kenneth Webster from Viessmann, last year's overall winner, "The ISH North America New Product Showcase is an excellent venue for showcasing new products to the contractor, wholesaler, and engineering communities. We pride ourselves on research and development, and introducing new products into the market. For us, the New Product Showcase is an effective way to promote new products and gain publicity. We look forward to participating again in October with our new Vitoflame burner."

Randy Waldron, director of sales and marketing for Liberty Pumps, added, "The New Product Showcase is a great way to display new items and draw attendees who are looking to see what is new in the industry. Our participation definitely increased our exposure at last year's show."

Over 500 companies are expected to present their latest products and services at ISH NA, and show organizers expect a total of 15,000 attendees.
