The importance of safeguarding precious natural and man-made resources is the focus of the Fall 2007 PMI meeting scheduled for Oct. 7-10 in Washington, DC.





The importance of safeguarding precious resources-both natural (like water) and man-made (such as websites, the internet security, and intellectual property)-forms the foundation for the Fall 2007 PMI meeting scheduled for Oct. 7-10 at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City, Washington, DC.

Following the PMI Board of Directors meeting and the general membership meeting on Oct. 7, the PMI fall conference will feature a variety of sessions focusing on safeguarding resources. Oct. 8 will feature PMI Issue, Standing and Product committee meetings. On Oct. 9, a series of speakers will address recycling, enforcement of labeling regulations and the efficient use of water with speakers representing the U.S., the UK and Australia.

The conference’s final morning session on Oct. 10 will be devoted to the role of nanotechnology throughout industry and in manufacturers' own companies.
