The Plumbing Manufacturers Institute (PMI) has announced the dates and location of its 2005 Spring Meeting. The meeting will be held Apr. 10-13 at the Westin Savannah Harbor Resort in Savannah, GA. Looking forward, PMI's 2005 Fall Meeting will be held Oct. 16-19 at the Capital Hilton in Washington, D.C.

PMI's semiannual meetings offer members and invited guests the opportunity to meet with other members, gain legislative and regulatory insight, and take an active role in developing and addressing plumbing issues with other key industry leaders. Guest speakers for spring include Ruth King, president, Pro Network TV Inc., discussing e-business; Michael Colopy, China specialist with International Commerce Consultants, returning from PMI's 2004 Fall CEO Forum; and keynote speaker and FOX News' economic and financial analyst, Stuart Varney.

In addition to committee meetings addressing universal conformity assessment, fair trade, government affairs, member services and information technology, PMI's semiannual meetings also include product group meetings, which include but are not limited to specialty finishing, faucets, shower/tub-shower fittings, showerhead and hand showers, flushing devices, and fixtures.

The Westin Savannah Harbor Resort, situated on the banks of the Savannah River offers a Troon Golf managed course called The Club. The PMI group will be one of the last to play the course before the PGA Champions "Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf Tour"
