Autodesk has announced the results of its first annual Autodesk Green Index, which revealed a 50% increase in the use of green building practices in the past five years, and predicts a 100% increase in the use of green design practices by the year 2010. Autodesk also announced that HIP Architects, an architectural firm based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, has been awarded the first Autodesk Green Building Leadership Award, which was presented at Greenbuild 2005.
