PME’s 2017 Manufacturers Representative of the Year
BWA South Co. prides itself on being a family — a family that continues to grow. In April, the Hilliard, Ohio-headquartered manufacturers representative firm added two employees, bringing the company to a robust 28 people. The two new BWA South team members have found a family that truly will care for them the way it has its past and present colleagues. This, along with a litany of business and industry excellence, is what makes BWA South Co., pme’s 2017 Manufacturers Representative of the Year.

Hilliard, Ohio-based BWA South Co. has cultivated a staff that is more family than work colleagues. Along with the industry-leading lines it represents, BWA South has become a leader in the commercial building market in Columbus, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Dayton, Ohio, as well as Kentucky and western Pennsylvania. BWA South was able to get a variety of its products into The Standard Building in Cleveland. The building, completed in 1925, is being converted into an apartment complex.

In 2011, Bob Armbruster (middle) brought Nick Hanes to BWA South from the distribution side of the industry to work with his daughter Jen Morton and set the company up for success in the next generation.
