Tom Prymak is vice president of marketing with Tyco Fire & Building Products in Lansdale, PA, and has spent the past 19 years with Tyco on the contracting and manufacturing sides of the business. Prymak has been in the fire protection industry since 1970 and is a member of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers and the National Fire Sprinkler Association. He serves as vice chairman of the manufacturers’ and suppliers’ council of the American Fire Sprinkler Association. Fire sprinklers were developed and have been used effectively to protect property since the 1870s. So this is an old story-with a modern twist.
