Zurn dedicates training center in memory of associate
Zurn Industries announced the opening of its Jon Everett Training Center at its Paso Robles, California location. The company helped a ribbon-cutting ceremony to dedicate the newly remodeled training center in memory of Zurn associate Jon Everett.
Everett was an employee for Zurn at the Zurn Wilkins location for 34 years. He died in November 2018. Zurn noted with Everett’s extensive product knowledge, “he was the utmost authority on backflow and pressure regulation and a proponent of product training. He was a respected and beloved coworker.”
“Jon had a major impact on our business, our customers and our associates,” said Ed Stettler, director of operations for Zurn Wilkins. “The Jon Everett Training Center will be a reminder of his passion for our industry and his commitment to our customers.”
The Jon Everett Training Center now features product displays and new state-of-the-art restrooms. The center accommodates a 36-student capacity, and is expected to be used for weekly training. A dedication plaque graces the entrance of the training room in his memory.
