Hilti CFS-CID MD firestops are available for combustible and non-combustible pipes and conduits up to 4” interior diameters in W2 and W3 metal-deck floor openings. The included accessories allow the user to work on a flat surface, which improves the layout and installation processes and leaves the deck intact before concrete is poured, Hilti says. The post-cured cut is performed with the latest carbide teeth hole saw and drilling tool. The new system shortens the installation time, includes the firestop safely up to a three-hour rating, and eliminates structural concerns for cutting the deck before concrete cures.
