REHAU’s EVERLOC+ compression-sleeve fitting system is available in sizes 1 1/4”–2”. The expand-and-compress process gives contractors more control and less worry on the job. The fittings are four times more secure with four sealing edges and the textured compression sleeves feature a zero-leakage design, REHAU states. They are approved in all model plumbing codes as well as NSF 14/61 and CSA B137.5 certified. The plumbing system is 50% faster and has zero wait time with immediate pressure testing and visual quick check.

Corrosion and Air Vents: NFPA 13 Code Requirements

This program will address technical changes specific to corrosion and air vents for the 2016 and 2019 editions of NFPA 13. The 2016 NFPA adds a new code requirement that a single air vent is installed for each wet sprinkler system to help reduce potential corrosion activity due to trapped air, and this requirement stays in the 2019 edition.
