In March, Toronto-based Armstrong Fluid Technology employees donated $10,000 to WaterAid, an international charity dedicated to safe water, hygiene and sanitation around the world. In addition, the Canadian government added another $30,000 in matching funds.

The donations were raised as part of Rising Stars, an employee recognition program that consists of an international talent show. Contributions were generated through kickoff events at all Armstrong locations around the world and by supporting employees who submitted videos of their talents.

“We felt the Rising Stars program was a great way to support such a worthwhile organization while at the same time recognizing our employees for both their unique talents and charitable contributions,” said Armstrong’s Global Communications Manager Laura Morris, who created the concept and oversaw the program.
