With a focus on creating inspiration and supporting the company’s commitment as an innovative design leader, American Standard opened a new industrial design studio at its Piscataway, N.J., research facility.

In the past year, American Standard has tripled the size of its design department and invested in an innovation team. The 4,200-sq.-ft. industrial design studio was created to accommodate the growing departments and provide and ideal workspace for developing the next generation of product designs.

In other American Standard news, the company hired Brian Kalember to join its team of industrial designers He previously worked as an associate industrial designer for Delta Faucet, where he developed faucets for both fashion and retail brands.
