The 2016 International Emerging Technology Symposium, set for May 2016 in Chicago, has signed the Alliance for Water Efficiency as a co-convener. The symposium has put out a call for abstracts, which can be downloaded at http://tinyurl.com/k9lrqtm.
“Participation by an increasing number of diverse and widely respected organizations in the planning and presentation of this fifth IETS speaks to the growing significance of this international event,” IAPMO’s CEO GP Russ Chaney said. “IAPMO is honored be part of what will no doubt be another informative and timely symposium.”
The IETS will bring together engineers, plumbers, contractors, manufacturers and water-efficiency experts to introduce new technologies for the plumbing and mechanical industries. Also, IETS was created to provide a portal for the host organizations’ partners in the manufacturing, engineering and trade industries to display innovative solutions to developing problems.
Other co-conveners with IETS include: ASPE, the Canadian Institute of Plumbing & Heating, IAPMO, MCAA, PHCC-NA, PMI, the United Association and the World Plumbing Council.
