Neoperl’s Careguard faucet line features a soft aerated stream that is produced when air and water combine in the faucet aerator’s mixing chamber. While drawing air from the room is no problem in residential and commercial applications, it can be a concern in health-care institutions. The room air can contain harmful bacteria that, if allowed to enter the fine droplets produced by the aerator, could add to the risk of contamination by inhalation. The Careguard product line’s unique hygienic features include: built-in Agion antimicrobial protection, laminar stream (non-aerated) and screenless construction (no wire-mesh screen prone to lime buildup). The newly expanded product line now includes pressure-compensating 0.35-gpm and 0.5-gpm sprays that generate a ring of laminar streams.
