Eugene Nerf Jr.will retire from Baltimore-based engineering firm Mueller Associates after a 50-year industry career. Nerf, a P.E. who served as Mueller’s chairman and president until 2006, was an expert in institutional building environments and mechanical engineering and will finish up his career at the end of 2013.
“Gene Nerf has been a mentor to me and many engineers at Mueller Associates,” current Mueller Associates President Robert Marino said. “He has made enormous contributions to the engineering profession in Maryland and throughout the Mid-Atlantic. No matter how challenging the project, Gene had ideas.”
Nerf will continue to support clients as a part-time consultant to the company.
