Kohler’s dual-flush toilet is ADA-compliant and features the familiar side-mount trip lever, but with a two-piece design that makes it easier to understand the two flushing options. On the bottom (or long portion) of the lever is the 1.1-gal. light flush. Pressing down both of the pieces together provides a 1.6-gal. full flush. Kohler’s dual-flush technology boasts significant water savings – as much as 16,500 gal. per year for a family of four vs. a 3.5-gpf toilet. The toilet has EPA WaterSense certification and its siphon-jet performance is similar to 1.28-gpf toilets.
