Rheem recently launched 80-gal. capacity models for its popular SPIDERfire condensing commercial water heaters. These complement the existing 100-gal. SPIDERfire offerings. The series is ideal for commercial settings that need an efficient way to heat a high volume of water throughout the day. Measuring 26.25” in diameter and 69.625” tall, the 80-gal. units have input rates from 130,000 to 300,000 Btuh. The units operate between 92% and 97% thermal efficiency. The 300,000 Btuh model can deliver up to 391 gal. of hot water in one hour and can recover its contents in only 14 minutes. The unit also features hot and cold inlets and outlets on both the front and rear, providing more installation options.
