T&S Brass’ ChekPoint sensor faucets save as much as 1 gal. per hand wash and only activate when a user’s hands are under the spout, flowing at a predetermined low-flow rate. The faucets contribute to LEED credits and certification in three specific categories: water efficiency (2-4 points), innovation (1-5 points), and design and regional priority (1-4 points). The company also recently launched the EC-3122 upgrade in the ChekPoint line. The EC-3122 comes standard with AC (plug-in wall transformer with a split tail) and DC (four AA batteries) power options. As with all T&S products that may carry potable water it is lead free.
