Viega’s new MegaPress system installs Schedule 5-Schedule 40 black steel pipe, while its MegaPressG system installs Schedule 40 black steel pipe in sizes from 1/2-inch to 2 inches using a unique press technology to secure pipe connections in less than 7 seconds. More than 200 fittings are available for both systems. MegaPress is slated for a Jan. 1, 2012, staggered launch.
