Canplas recently launched solids interceptor products to complement its grease management line. Available in two formats, the Solids Interceptor Basket Accessory fits into any Endura model by removing the inlet baffle and slotting the solids basket in place. Alternatively, the Solids Interceptor can be purchased as a standalone solution to operate independently upstream of any manufacturers’ grease interceptor. Both versions feature dual-screen filtration - removing first large and then finer debris. Components are removable for easy cleaning. Development testing shows performance in excess of 98% solids with mixed material as fine as coffee grounds.
