James L. Brothers’ election as president of the International Code Council’s board of directors highlighted the council’s recent board officer and director appointments.

Brothers is the building director for the city of Decatur, Ala., and previously served as vice president of the board.

Bill Dupler, Chesterfield County, Va., director of department of building inspections, was elected vice president, whileRonald E. Piester, director of the New York Department of State’s Division of Code Enforcement and Administration, was installed as secretary/treasurer of the ICC board.Ron Lynnis immediate board past president. He’s a director and building official with the Clark County Department of Development Services, Las Vegas.
