The integrally molded positioning tabs serve as a stop and perfectly locate a crimp ring over the sealing barbs. Also new from Sioux Chief, the V-Sleeve stainless-steel compressive sleeve features full compression over the entire sealing surface of the fitting and has complete 360° visibility of the tube inserted fully. The sleeve, which can be preloaded on a fitting or pipe, eliminates improperly positioned crimp rings and cinch/pinch clamps by offering up to 50% more sealing surface than push clamps.
