Smith Cast Iron Boilers introduces its new HeatNet integrated boiler control platform designed to provide the Series 28 HE RTS boilers with a state-of-the-art boiler management system. HeatNet utilizes digital communication to regulate boiler firing rates and turndown ratios to maximize the efficiency of any application, including mixed boiler configurations where both condensing and noncondensing boilers are being utilized in hybrid boiler applications. HeatNet maintains peak efficiency and optimizes firing rates utilizing microprocessor electronics that continuously monitor boiler demand based on actual usage. HeatNet “learns” system demand loads and modulates all firing rates accordingly with turndown ratios from 6:1, 9:1 and 12:1 for maximum performance.
