The Plumbing & Mechanical Association of Georgia, along withKaren Raburn, has asked that those who wish to make a memorial contribution should make their gift to the PHCC Education Foundation endowment fund in her husbandGeorge’s memory.

Last fall, George and Karen Raburn decided to become members of the Foundation’s board of governors, a group of dedicated contractors who make a minimum contribution of $30,000 to the permanent Foundation endowment fund. The Foundation uses the earnings on this permanent endowment to fund educational programs, scholarships and workforce development activities.

Memorial donation forms are available atwww.foundation.phccweb.org. Contributions can also be made by calling 800-533-7694 and asking to make a Raburn memorial gift. These contributions will provide enduring support to educational programs for plumbing and HVACR contractors and their employees, scholarships for students and opportunities for the next generation of our profession’s leaders.

George Raburn, vice president of the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors-National Association, passed away on March 20, after a recurrence of cancer. Raburn believed very strongly in education, and was serving on the PHCC Educational Foundation Board of Directors this year.
