FlexHead Industries has announced all stainless steel construction in its flexible fire sprinkler connections for suspended ceilings, as well as in new model designations featuring longer-length flexible hose components in each of the standard configurations. FlexHead's UL- and FM-rated products have always included the company's stainless steel flexible hose component, but the connector components were machined carbon steel that was specially treated for corrosion resistance and durability. Now the company has streamlined its manufacturing process to offer all stainless-steel components. FlexHead has also changed its product designations to reflect the overall length of the sprinkler connection to include the connector components.
