ASTM International announced the formation of a new committee to develop standards and guidance materials for Homeland Security Applications. The committee is comprised of a diverse range of stakeholders from both the public and private sector, including representatives from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, U.S. Secret Service, as well as from first responders, security product manufacturers, trade associations, and academia.
