Several companies were the recipients of 2006 Awards for Design Excellence.

The following companies announced recently that they are the recipients of 2006 ADEX Awards for design excellence.
  • Alsons® Corp., a leading manufacturer of shower products, announced that it is the recipient of three 2006 Award for Design Excellence (ADEX) awards: one Platinum for its 7-Spray Shower Head, one Gold for its IN2ITION Hand Shower/Shower Head, and one Silver for its 7-Spray Hand Shower.
  • Delta Faucet Co.'s Brizo® brand announced that two of its products were named as recipients of ADEX Awards. The Loki™ powder room and bar/prep faucet received a Platinum ADEX Award, and the Venuto™ kitchen faucet was honored with a Gold ADEX Award. The ADEX Awards, which stands for Awards for Design Excellence, were introduced by Design Journal in 1994 as a way of recognizing superior product design. In addition, the company announced that its Simply PŪR® Water Filtration System won a Gold ADEX Award in this year's competition.
  • MTI Whirlpools was the recipient of five ADEX Awards in the Kitchen and Bath category. The company won a Platinum ADEX Award for the Sapelo bath; MTI's Radiance™ is the winner of an ADEX Gold Award; and Silver ADEX Awards were given to the Antigua freestanding tub, the Yubune tub and the Crescent Bow-Front Shower Base.
  • Falcon Waterfree Technologies announced that its new waterfree urinals have been recognized with a 2006 ADEX Platinum Award, one of the most prestigious awards for product design of furniture, fixtures and finishes marketed to the design trade. The new F4000 and F5000 urinals from Falcon Waterfree received the Platinum Award, which is the highest level of ADEX recognition in the Commercial Bath category.
