The ASME Council on Codes and Standards is creating an award in remembrance of the late Pat Higgins, who had chaired the A112 Plumbing Materials and Equipment Committee for 18 years. The ASME Patrick Higgins Award will recognize individuals who have contributed to the enhancement of standardization. One recipient a year will receive a medal, an embossed certificate and a $1,000 honorarium.
