Web Product Focus: Fire Protection Flow Switches-Potter Electric Signal Co.
August 5, 2004
Potter Electric Signal Co. offers several products to fight sprinkler system corrosion. The Vane-Type Flow Switch (VSR-F) includes corrosion-proof wetted materials. The PAAR (Potter Automatic Air Release) helps eliminate trapped air in a sprinkler system, reducing the air/water interface where corrosion often thrives. The PCMS (Potter Corrosion Monitoring Station) replicates the condition in the cross main or branch line of a wet pipe system, allowing the system to be regularly inspected for signs of corrosion. The PCDS (Potter Chemical Delivery System) utilizes a patented process that allows a corrosion-inhibiting agent to be added to the water supply as it enters the sprinkler system.Potter Electric Signal Co.
