HVACjob.com, PLUMBjob.com and ELECTRICjob.com, job and resume sites serving the mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) industries, have been united under the new MEP AT WORK brand name. The change, made by the boards' operator, MECHdata, Inc. (a Des Moines, IA, company), is the result of a survey of customers, advisors and industry consultants. In addition, it is consistent to a trend on the contracting side that includes expanding into additional vertical market space, all housed under one roof.
"Contractors and the other businesses in the specialty trade industries are becoming more diverse, and less committed to only one trade," says MECHdata Founder and CEO Marc Sampson. "Consolidating our job boards is simply following the evolution that many of our primary customers are undergoing."
The consolidated and redesigned site at MEPAtWORK.com will offer new services, such as candidate screening, executive search, compensation and benefits analysis, staff training and retention for all three industries.
