Online News--ICC Releases 2003 ICC Building Safety Codes
The International Codes Council (ICC) has announced that has released the 2003 editions of the ICC International Codes (I-Codes), a complete set of 14 coordinated, compatible building and fire safety codes adopted by jurisdictions around the world.
The two newest members of the I-Code family are the International Existing Building Code and International Urban-Wildland Interface Code. The IEBC includes provisions for improving and upgrading existing buildings to conserve resources and history. The IUWIC addresses fire spread, accessibility, defensible space and water supply for buildings constructed near wildland areas.
