After a recent test of low-flow toilets, a well-known testing organization's magazine had only positive ratings and comments for the Briggs Vacuity 4200 and Crane Power Flush VIP 3999.

In an effort to help consumers evaluate low-flow toilets, a well-known testing organization's magazine had only positive ratings and comments for the Briggs Vacuity 4200 and Crane Power Flush VIP 3999.

Both units feature The VAC(TM), Fluidmaster's Vacuum-Assist Low-Flow Flushing System that combines a vacuum trapway bowl design with a vacuum-assist flush kit.

The Briggs Vacuity 4200 ranked #1 in a field of 28 models representing major manufacturers. Both the Briggs and the #4-rated Crane Power Flush VIP 3999 were classified as "very good overall."

Toilets were evaluated for solid waste removal, wash down, draining, noise and liquid waste removal.

The Briggs Vacuity 4200 also performed well in a series of extensive tests executed by the NAHB (National Association of Home Builders) Research Center. In a field of 52 toilets, the Briggs toilet ranked in the top third for flush performance.
