Jay R. Smith, chairman of the board and former president of Jay R. Smith Mfg. Co. from 1942 to 1978, died of natural causes at his home in West Palm Beach, FL, on Friday, March 28, 2003. He was 92 years old.
Mr. Smith's legacy lives on with his family, in the company that bears his name, and the employees and representatives that mourn his passing.
He is survived by his wife, Geraldine, and children Jay L. Smith II, Geraldine L. Smith, Bruce W. Smith, and Dwight D. Smith.
