Grundfos Pump Corp. recognized Metropolitan Industries as an outstanding partner in 2004 and presented President John Kochan, Jr., an outstanding partner award during the Sheet Metal Contractor Exhibition held at the Drury Lane Theater in Oak Brook on March 29. In addition, Grundfos presented Metropolitan Industries with the 2004 President's Award during the month of April.
According to the outstanding partner award signed by Grundfos President Larry C. Wimmer and the 2004 President's award, Metropolitan exceeded sales quotas and best exemplifies Grundfos Pumps Corp.'s commitment to quality, leadership, teamwork and service.
The Metropolitan/Grundfos partnership started in 2003 when the two companies agreed that Metropolitan would be the sole representative of residential and commercial products for Illinois.
Grundfos is the world's largest manufacturer of circulator pumps, covering approximately 50% of the world market.
