J. Phil Perry, a senior regional sales engineer for Contech Construction Products, based in Wilmington, NC, has received an ASTM Award of Merit from Committee A05 on Metallic-Coated Iron and Steel Products. The honor, which includes the title of fellow, is the highest Society recognition for individual contributions to standards activities.
Perry was cited for his outstanding contributions to the standardization of corrugated steel pipe materials and technology in A05. Perry has shown leadership in keeping existing standards current and in promulgating new standards, having been a significant contributor to and champion of a number of documents.
