Also, Cambridge Lee Industries will eliminate
offering linesets with ¼ and 3/16 insulation. With the introduction of the 13
SEER minimum requirement for new installations of air conditioning systems and
stricter code enforcement, these smaller sizes of insulation are becoming
obsolete. Linesets will be available with 3/8, 1/2 and 3/4 insulation.
These decisions will contribute to more
efficient inventory management of linesets for both the wholesale distributors
and manufacturers. It will also require less warehouse space and greatly reduce
the number of SKUs.
Cambridge Lee Industries says it has surveyed
many wholesale distributors this past year and received the wholehearted
support for implementing these changes.
