Sloan Valve Co. has announced a special addition to its manual Flushometer product line: The new Royal Classic™. A replica of the company's original flush valve introduced in 1906, the Royal Classic is designed with a bell-like top and white porcelain handle, but includes modern-day updates. These include a dual-filtered fixed bypass diaphragm (which keeps debris from clogging the Flushometer and prevents valve run-on); non-hold open handle that automatically shuts off regardless of the handle position; high-copper, low-zinc brass castings to protect against dezincification; Bak-Chek® control stop; and adjustable tailpiece to compensate for off-center installations.
