The American Institute of Architects (AIA) reaffirmed its support for a single set of comprehensive codes to be used throughout the U.S. at a meeting of AIA representatives and ICC CEO Bob Heinrich and ICC staff at the AIA National Headquarters in Washington, DC. AIA advocated active participation in the codes and standards development processes by both architects and the public.
