This project includes identification of priority areas of investigation, selection of potential technologies, test protocol development and technology evaluation. The first verification reports are scheduled for completion in late 2003.

NSF also announced it has certified the National Association of Pipe Fabricators' flanged and grooved ductile-iron products to NSF/ANSI 61 2002. Compliance of all phases of the NSF Certification Program is a requirement for continued membership in NAPF.
