Altran Corp. has announced that it has developed the FPS Kit for building managers, fire protection system engineers and water quality consultants to use for detecting and characterizing corrosion in fire protection systems. The FPS Kit is a prepaid sample mailer than can be used to ship material and water samples to Altran's Boston laboratory for analysis. Upon receipt, Altran's lab and engineering staff will analyze the samples to assist in identifying the corrosion mechanism, and they will follow up with a comprehensive analytical report of findings and recommendations.
