Anvil International, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mueller Holdings, Inc., announced that it has purchased all of the assets of Merit Manufacturing Corp. of Pottsdown, PA, a manufacturer of welded outlets and drop nipples for the fire protection industry. Merit will continue to manufacture in its existing facilities, and Dr. Raymond Jensen, president and founder of Merit, will continue to run the company and will report to Tom Fish.
