New examinations and others recently updated to the 2000 International Codes developed jointly by the three model code organizations are now available.
The certification exams, administered by Assessment Systems Inc., include Certified Building Official (CBO), Accessibility Inspector/Plans Examiner, Fire Inspector I and II, Property Maintenance and Housing Inspector, Residential Energy Plan Review, Commercial Energy Plan Review, Residential Energy Inspector, Commercial Energy Inspector, Reinforced Concrete Special Inspector, Prestressed Concrete Special Inspector, Zoning Inspector, and Permit Technician.
