At the September meeting of the Plumbing Manufacturers Institute in Washington, DC, members voted to change the way dues are assessed to foreign members in the hope of expanding PMI's base of operations.
Foreign members' dues will now be calculated based on their sales volume in NAFTA countries. Previously they were calculated on worldwide sales.
The Board of Directors will consider changing by-laws at the group's Spring meeting, deleting reference to "foreign" members and having just one membership category.
