Ecoflex has realized its quest for official recognition with ASTM approval of new Standard Specification F 2165 for Flexible Pre-Insulated Piping, which describes how the carrier pipe, insulation and outer jacket function as a system. ASTM also announced the development of ASTM F 2138, Standard Specification for Excess-Flow Valves for Natural Gas Service.
