The nonprofit National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) has announced a July 3, 1998, deadline to submit proposals recommending changes to NFPA 1, Fire Prevention Code, for the Year 2000 Edition. Proposal forms are available by calling 617-984-7249.
The NFPA has also issued a call for papers for the organization's 1999 Annual Meeting, which will take place May 17 to May 20, 1999, in Baltimore.
