Pre-insulated Ecoflex PEX and HDPE pipe will be used to transport potable water to the 2,400,000 citizens of Bucharest, Romania.

The world's first large-scale, all PEX-piping network will soon replace the 120-km (75-mile) piping infrastructure of Bucharest, Romania. Pre-insulated Ecoflex PEX and HDPE pipe in sizes up to 160 mm will be used to transport potable water to the 2,400,000 citizens of the Romanian capital city, an Eastern European hub for commerce and air travel. The project is expected to be completed within two years.

Ecoflex also announced that it has opened a new stock facility and operations headquarters in Wilmington, Ill., near Chicago. Wilmington personnel will work directly with Ecoflex's U.S. and Caribbean distributor, Rovanco Piping Systems, located in nearby Joliet.

Ecoflex also announced that William Ganz as been appointed the new U.S. Unit Manager in charge of administration, personnel and finance; and Thom O'Hara Business Development Manager for the U.S. and Caribbean markets.
